A delegation of brothers from the Committee for Charity and Support for the Palestinians - France, AKA "Comité de Bienfaisance et de Secours aux Palestiniens- CBSP", represented by Dr. Bobaker Haj Amour, Chairman of the Committee, Bashir Mohsen, Secretary General, and Mr. Khaled Al-Shouli, a Board Member, and Mr. Mouloud Bouzidi, Financial Director, visited the headquarters of Hope Foundation for Education In Istanbul, Turkey. They were received by Dr. Kamalin Shaath and Dr. Raif Al-Shorafa.

Hope Foundation commended the active role of the Committee in supporting education in Palestine in general and supporting the Islamic University in Gaza in particular, the brothers were enlightened about the education situation in Palestine in general and the problems it suffers from especially in the Gaza Strip. An introductory film was displayed about Islamic University of Gaza as an example of major Palestinian institutions for higher education. Dr. Shaat briefed the delegation on the urgent needs for education, and the agenda of Hope Foundation in supporting various forms of education in Palestine, as this role has been neglected in recent times, given the turmoil in many countries of the Middle East region.

The delegation members expressed their happiness and blessing of this initiative for education support, crowned by the establishment of Hope Foundation for Education. They also showed their appreciation for the significant role of education in the Palestinian society. They were particularly pleased with the development occurred in higher education through their impression of Islamic University of Gaza. They also expressed their deep desire to help the education process advance through cooperation with the Foundation.

Dr. Shaat also briefed the delegation on the foundation's strategic and temporal plan, and the need to create income-generating endowment assets to ensure the sustainability of education in the targeted areas.

In response, Dr. Bobaker stated that the Committee is ready to assist and support this area by setting up a mechanism that facilitates the support of the foundation to create income-generating endowment assets.

At the end of the meeting, farewell and memorial photos were taken with the delegation, in hope for a reunion in Istanbul or France to work on future partnerships in the discussed areas.
