Hope Foundation for Education concluded a visit to Turkish Knowledge Waqf on October 26, 2017, represented by Dr. Kamalin Shaath, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hope Foundation, and Engineer Moeen Naim, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation. They were received by the head of Turkish Knowledge Waqf; Mr. Birol Akgun, and Mr. Jehad Demirel, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Waqf. During the visit, work scope of Turkish Knowledge Waqf and practices of joint cooperation in the activities implemented by the Waqf inside and outside Turkey were discussed. The objectives of establishing Hope Foundation for Education and the targeted areas of work, especially in the education service in Palestine and the Gaza Strip in particular, were demonstrated. In this context, the experience and achievements of Islamic University of Gaza as well as the importance of supporting this strategic project to the Palestinians were illustrated. The impression of the brothers from Turkish Knowledge Waqf was overwhelmingly positive towards the experience of higher education in Palestine in general and in the Gaza Strip in particular, through several educational and social services offered by the Islamic University as a community incubator in the Gaza Strip.
