Hope Foundation for Education, represented by Dr. Kamalin Shaath, Chairman of the Board of Directors, participated in Development and Humanitarian Forum to Support the Palestinian People, held in Qatar from 8-10 March 2017. The participation was through the presentation of a working paper entitled "Mechanisms of Partnership and Cooperation for Development in Palestine: Challenges and Prospects in the Subject of Education".
Through the working paper, the educational reality in Palestine was exhibited, and the attendees was informed in detail about the actual needs in light of the standards and global vision of sustainable development. The role of waqfs/endowments in ensuring sustainability in supporting education at all levels was also outlined. On the sidelines of the forum, a number of supporting institutions were visited and ways to partner with them were discussed.
