A delegation of brothers from Rahma International Society - Kuwait, represented by Mr. Yahya Suleiman Al-Aqili, Secretary General of the Society, Mr. Walid Al-Suwailem, Head of the Society Office in Syria, and Mr. Faisal Abu Naqira, Director of the Arab Sector at the Society, visited the headquarters of Hope Foundation for Education in Istanbul - Turkey. They were received by Dr. Kamalin Shaath, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Foundation, and Dr. Moeen Naim, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Dr. Raif Al-Shorafa, Executive Director.

Hope Foundation thanked the Society for its continuous support of education in Palestine in general and support of Islamic University of Gaza in particular. Then the delegation were briefed on the education status in Palestine and the problems it endures, especially in the Gaza Strip and specifically in the Islamic University as a pioneering experience in the field of higher education. An introductory film about Islamic University of Gaza was also displayed to illustrate the point. Then Dr. Kamalin Shaath clarified the direction of the Foundation in supporting education segments in Palestine, and highlighted the importance of this neglected role in recent times due to the successive crises inflicting the Middle East. He explained to them the key outlines of the Foundation plan strategically and temporarily and the need to create income-generating endowment assets to ensure the sustainability of education in the targeted areas.

The guest brothers congratulated the initiative of establishing Hope Foundation for Education as a response to the vital role of education in the Palestinian society and its importance for society growth.

At the end of the meeting, farewell and memorial photos were taken with the delegation, in hope for a reunion in Kuwait to work on future partnerships in the discussed areas.
